New postby Komal85 on Wed Nov 25, 2009 11:09 am

Hi Doctor,

On 5th Nov'09 my dad got an attack of paralyses and after undergoing CT scan of brain the report is as under

Age : 62 Yrs / M
Examination : CT Brain Plain
Report Dated 5th Nov 09 :
• Acute hemorrhage in right ganglicapsular region measuring 3.8 x 2.4 x 3.4cm in size with intraventricular extention and midline shift to the left of 7mm.

Report Dated 12th Nov 09 :
• There is mild increase in Perihemorrhagic white matter edema
• There is mild increase in the mass effect with midline shift of 9mm.
• There is no change in the acute hematoma size. The hematoma now appears less hyperdense suggestive of resolution
• There is complete resorption of 3rd and 4th ventricular hemorrhage is noted.
• Rest of the scan findings are largely unchanged.
• No new lesions detected.

Another problem we faced at this time is his stone in kidney which according to doctors was the main reason of this attack & high blood pressure.

After a treatment & hospitalization till 12th Nov Medication is as below
Eptoin (100) 1-----1-----1
Dompan 1------------1
Atherochek(10) 1 after dinner
Losamax H 1 at 9am
Depin (5) 2-----2-----2
Liq. Sorbacid 5ml-----5ml-----5ml
Oral Glycerol 25ml-----25ml-----25ml
Denim Juicy 1 sos
Cremaffin plus 10ml at bed time
Syp Nootropil 5ml-----5ml-----5ml

This is with a hope that you will guide me in the treatment if it is not proper or needs to be modify somewhere

Request you to give me a near future picture & chances of recovery.

Kind Regards,

Komal
