Subdural Hematoma

Postby sugaree25200 on Sat Jun 07, 2008 12:20 am

I have a question regarding my father. He was on Coumadin because of being afib. A few days ago he acquired a subdural hematoma without any injury to his head. I was wondering if an eye exam he had a few days prior could have caused this. Please advise. Thank you. Kelly

I cannot think of a relationship with the eye exam.

Is it possible that he may have had a small bump on the head that he did not remember?

What was his INR when he had the subdural?
What were his symptoms that led to checking for a subdural?
