Pain, swelling, warmth, in elbow..knots on forearm and palm

I would very much appreciated it if someone could please tell me, what they think this is? I have really bad pain in my right elbow, the inside is swollen and is warm to the touch, I also have knots on the front of this same arm...with one knot about the size of a nickel in the palm of my hand. I have had pain also in the rototar cuff area of this same arm. Sometimes, I have this pain in the rototar cuff of my left arm. I also have Interstitial/Fibrosis Lung Disease..and was on predisone 60mg. for a year. I am so confused and wondering if the predisone did something to my bones.....also if maybe the pain I am having now is somehow related to the Lung Disease...or if the Lung Disease is related to the pain. If you can help me I would be most grateful.....Margie

Have you seen a rheumatologist / done tests for the various types of rheumatological conditions (ANA, ESR, CRP, ANTI RO LA, C/p- ANCA, RF, APLA)? If not I think the first doctor to see (after your GP) should be a rheumatologist.
