Spinal cord trauma, herpes complications?

Spinal cord trauma, herpes complications? Please help. I've reinjured a lower back injury a couple of times since the original incident in 2006. Once so bad I couldn't turn over in bed or get in or out of my car. I let it rest for several days, and it did get a little better, not much. But over the last few months, I've had the most bizarre symptoms that I've ever had in my life. I've had genital herpes for the last 20 years or so, and if I had to guess, I would say that the virus has invaded my spinal cord. My scalp will get so sensitive that I can't touch it, brush my hair, anything. Then, it will cease to hurst and I'll have severe lower back pain, my right leg will go numb, my fingers will tingle, I'll feel sharp 'sticks' all over my body. This can happen anytime day or night, and I will get sticks or numbness in any part of my body, or several parts of my body at the same time. Sensations can happen in my chest, neck, back, legs, arms, head, etc. When my scalp is sensitive, I can't even lay my head on a pillow. It's driving me crazy, and my back pain seems to get worse at times. I've been to the emergency room 3 or 4 times, and they always say they can't find anything. I've had an MRI of my neck/back, but they couldn't find anything. (The pictures were a little blurry, maybe that's why he couldn't see anything). But this is real, and I can't sleep, I can't work a full day, and I can't live like I use to. I'm a 47 year old healthy male, except for the lower back trauma which occurred a couple of years ago. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE...........
Re: Spinal cord trauma, herpes complications? Were you seen by a Neurologist?
Did you have an outbreak of genital herpes when these neurologic symptoms began? Was a lumbar puncture performed? http://www.asktheneurologist.com/lumbar-puncture.html Was the MRI performed with contrast?
