Intervertebral soft tissues

Postby Spaka on Fri May 23, 2008 3:23 pm

I apology that I am disturbing you but I need a piece of advice.
After my growth to the height was finished, some difficulties began like a blocked breast backbone (lungs spasm and unability to breathe freely, after a violent unblocking there was a crackling in the backbone and the lungs released) and a neck backbone started to block too (pins and needles in the limbs, muscles pain, spasms, everlasting pain of the head, teeth and eyes with a delayed perceivement of movement).
Also jaw joints had subluxed themselves, the worse is the left one (some doctors spoke about the enlarging of soft tissues, probably discs or simply gristles).
I have uploaded here a couple of CT images with contrast, but I was said that a better method to view intervertebral discs is a MRI.
Please could you take a look at the images and could you tell if the intervertebrael discs and soft tissues in my neck backbone can press on some nerves or not? Thank you.

PS: I can pass you a link to the entire CT uploaded to my web site + MRI of jaw joins.

I am not sure what this means.
What diagnoses were given by your doctor?

Please forward the precise wording of the radiology report.

Thank you for your reply. I am sorry that I did not describe the problem by the best words, since English is my second language.

At the time of my "breast backbone problem", they made x-rays investigations and their diagnosis were only vertebrogenic algic syndrome and Scheuermann disease. But my massager said to me that the backbone does not move at all when he presses on it and adviced me to do one exercise to violently unblock the breast backbone and it worked.

As for the CT pictures placed in my thread, I did not get any official CT report so far, it was made due to temporomandibular joints and also neck backbone, and so far only stomatologic clinic said to me that the left temporomandibular joint (that was investigated before a possible operation) is sick due to a thickened and enlargened disc. They said that not much people have such a problem and the people who have it also sometimes have other problems.

Can I PM you a link to the entire CT? I would be very glad if you could take a look on it, if you are a neurologist.

Thank you.

I am still not clear what the problem is.

If you only need a radiology consultation then this should be done with a radiologist. Having said this, it is usual for an official report to be given by a radiologist for any CT of this kind...you should contact the place where it was done and get the report. When you have the report you can contact us for any questions which arise.

all the best

Thank you. Okay, I will ask a radiologist. But I didn't get an official report even though it is usual. The place where the CT was made is in a different country .
