My symptoms are:
Numb Bladder, Colon, Stomach. I can't tell when I'm hungry/full and I can't tell when it's time to go to the bathroom. The only way I can do it is "time it" every so often.
Bloating, Nausea, Abdominal Pain (Abdominal Cat Scan normal)
Numb left foot off and on
Right upper arm and hand pain. Sometimes it get so bad I can't even write.
Headaches that only develop when I'm actually sleeping. When I sleep more the headache gets worse until I get up. Most of the time they last until late afternoon. Nothing relieves it, not even a prescription migraine medicine. In time the headaches go away by themselves. These headaches usually happens about 2 times a week.
At night, when I lay on my right side, my right arm starts hurting. When I lay on my back, I get abdominal pain. I have to sleep on my left side to go to sleep pain free.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.
Scott

Have you ever lost control of your bladder or bowels?

As of now, I still have control of my bladder/bowels. I have never lost control/had any accidents.
Today for the first time, I had pain while going twice. I have never experienced this before.

It is extrememly rare for abdominal pain to be due to a neurological problem so it is very important to have a gasto physician check you. Have you had an actual neurological examination (testing reflexes etc) if so what waso found?

I have been examined by a Gastroilogist and an abdominal Cat Scan - both which was normal.
I was seen by a Neurologist last week. He did the full exam. I had trouble maintaining my balance in his office.
He did a brain scan, and a spinal cord/neck MRI. He also ordered a lot of blood work. I go back to him next week for a nerve test ---eeg I think is what its called?
My headaches which I get that only develop in my sleep are rare also - a Hypnic headache I believe. But my headaches either go away when I get up, or they last all day which nothing will relieve them. No---they're not a migraine. I do not have nausea or lights do not bother me when I have these headaches.
When I stat home and am not active, I improve a lot. When I ride in a car, walk for any extended amount of time even in Wal-Mart, or stand for longer than a few minutes, I get lightheaded and dizzy. The days I'm active, that night is when the headaches develop. I never get the headaches when I stay home all day.
So what I'm going through is not common - confirmed by the Neurologist I saw last week. I just hope he can get to the bottom of this.
Hope this explains more details. Thank you.

Please clarify . Are you waiting for the scan results or were they normal?

I see the Neurologist this Wednesday. I haven't heard anything regarding the test results yet.
Wednesday is when he does the EEG I think it's called where they put some needle in the muscles to see how the nerves are working.

You are describing an EMG...an EEG checks the electrical activity in the brain and is mainly used as a test for suspected epilepsy. Let us know how it goes.
