What age were you when Chiari symptoms hit?

I am still waiting for a neuro appointment, not sure if I have Chiari yet, but all the symptoms fit. I have read that Chiari can present itself anywhere from the teens to the 30s, and I am wondering how many of you didn't experience really severe symptoms until you were in your 30s (as I am). What is the average age for this malady to reveal itself?

I was diagnosed just before my 40th Birthday and underwent decompression surgery in April this year. This seems to be about the average mid to late thirties, but of all the people that I have spoken to it depends upon so many other variables.
