Abnormality #1: There were frequent bursts of paroxysmal generalized slowing or some bursts with just some bifrontal slow appearance, particularly during sleep. Infrequently, there were some sharp features to the bursts of slowing
The remaining part of my sleep-deprived EEG said the following:
"IMPRESSION: Abnormal EEG in the waking and sleeping states due to frequent bursts of of generalized mixed frequency slowing, many with a bifrontal predominance and some with sharp features. Nevertheless, there were no definitely epiltptiform abnormalities. There were no focal findings. The bursts of generalized slowing indicate a disturbance in the midline function but are not specific with regard to etiology. Epilepsy, vascular disease, and many other possibilities could be the cause."
Please advise on what could be causing such a result (tumor, etc.).
No headaches, vomiting, double vision, etc.
