Pain and Over-Sensitivity

Postby zachd83 on Mon Nov 03, 2008 4:51 pm

For a weeks now I've been experiencing some pain and over-sensitivity in my fingers. It comes and goes - right now not experiencing it, but something new came up. Not sure if they're related, but now I have pain in my ear. Not the canal, but the actual cartilage. The pain extends from the top of my ear to a little just behind it on my head. I don't think I've bumped my head lately, and it doesn't look like a bruise, though is sensitive like one. What could some of the possible explanations be? Is it something I should be running to a doctor with, or should I wait and see if the problem persists?

Some other information that may be important: I'm a 25 year old male, and I am currently experiencing an outbreak of HSV-1. I read that HSV-1 generally stay latent in a group of nerves near the ear, so now I'm wondering if these two problems are related?
