I am recovering from Bell's Palsy (about 5 weeks in, and about 90% recoverd)
However, I seem to be heading in the wrong direction. I did get confirmation today that Bell's Palsy has nothing to do with MS. So that was good news. However I have other issues. I continue to have twitches in my muscles, and even had a cramp in myh foot last night. The twitches seem to be just about anywhere in my body, but are mainly in my legs. I have not had any noticeable loss of strength, but I hands feel tired after using them (mainly between the thumb and index finger), and my legs feel like I have been working out. The sensations come and go quickly (and seem to be worse if I start getting stressed about it). The muscle twiches only happen if I am sitting with my feet up, or lying down. If I move the muscle that is affected it stops. I went to the eye doctor today, and he confirmed that I do have a very slight amount of weakness in my left eye. It is not enough to treat at this point, and something that he said I have probably had for a long time. Of course these are all signs of MS. They are also signs of anxiety, which I have a lot of ( I had a panic attack last year). I am scared, but don't want to over react. What should I do?????? My grandfather had Myasthenia Gravis, and my mother has Fibromayalgia. I have two kids and can pick them up no problem (one weighs almost 40 pounds, i carried him down steps this morning). Do I need see a neurologist, or am I over reacting and the anxiety is causing the muscle problems.
