11 month old infant- large head size extreme irritabilityOur 11 month old had a head size in the 75 percentile when she was born. It has gradually increased to the 100th. They did a CT scan that showed no masses or abnormal fluid levels. She just started crawling, wont eat any solid foods and is extremely irritable. She is very emotional, clingy and very very hard to calm down once she gets upset. She had a period around 6-8 months where she completely stopped doing anything new. She will not touch solid foods. At one point she would eat baby food and now will not try anything. She is getting harder and harder each day. The haven't ran blood work and scheduled MRI..first available was in 5 weeks? I'm not sure what to do...the only time she is happy is when she is outside. She seems to have good moments here and there...but 95% of our day is spent with her crying..even if I'm holding her. I have called the nuerolgist numerous times and all he says is we will see what the mri shows. She is getting more challenging each day that it scares me. I feel like something terrible is going 'wrong' inside her and I am going to find her dead in her crib. She wakes up 5-6 times each night...only naps for about 15 mins each day. What do I do..I've called the ER and they tell me that they will just refer us back to the nuero doctor the next day.
