Hi, i have been suffering with problems with my ear since about april now. I get a feeling of fullness in my ear which is accompanied with a roaring buzzing type of sound. I often get quite bad pain in my ear and in my head around my ear. I often get vertigo and when i am having a bad bowt of the ear problem, which can sometimes last a few days, i end up feeling exhausted and weak. Sometimes i can get quite a bad pain in my head and jaw which forces me to lay down.
I went to the hospital yesterday and saw an E.N.T specialist who performed a hearing test, i found this quite disorientating, he also performed balance tests. The outcome of this is that he thinks i have reduced hearing in that ear and said that it is an issue with my middle ear, possibly fluid. He said he could not give me the normal tablets to treat this as i have had problems with my stomach when i was younger so he has given me water tablets to try to reduce the fluid. He also wishes to send me for an M.R.I, i dont really understand why and it is worrying me a little in case they find something more serious
Any sort of information you could give me on this matter would be greatly appreciated,
