longterm memory problem.please help

Postby lightview on Fri Nov 21, 2008 11:42 pm

I am a male 23 years old.I would like someone to identify any of the symptoms below as in my country no doctor that i have visited came up with a clear or even an answear, please.
-minimum long term memory.everything is black as i look back for memories,i have practically 2 maybe 3 memories till the age of 12.until now i believe i have around 50 memories as events that happened in the past.i visit places and in a matter of a day or two i forget everything that i saw or did in these places.later i forget visiting them too.mostly i rememeber very dramatic events by emotions and not as events, such as accidents.
-i have no sense of time in terms of weeks months and years.any memories that i have are scarced through time with no time order.after 2 day period i forget almost 90% that has happened the 2 days before and it goes on like a chain.in the end of a month i remember only very importnant things.
-i have excellent memory with numbers.i just remember a number if i look at it 3 or 4 times.i practically remember half my agenta with telephone numbers.
-i have shortmemory problems too.i often do not remember where i ve put my keys 10 seconds ago or where i ve parked my car half an hour ago.For example one year ago i parked my car at one spot.then i came back to pick it up and it was stolen.i called 911 and i trully believed that it was in fact stolen.the truth is that i ve lost all the time that i changed my decision and parked it 2 blocks away.close friends and relatives were present who told me not to worry, calmed me down and took me to were i ve parked it,consulting me to see a doctor immediately.
-i have no memory of faces.i do not remember the faces of my parents relatives or friends.i tried sometimes to remember characteristics of them or even draw them on piece of paper but i couldnt.i can only identify them as i look at them.
-finally i can never memorize a book or words generally as i study.my grades were higly affected by that in therotical classes.
-things that i use every day or people that i meet in daily basis i can identify them clearly.
-there have been no severe head injuries,no severe accidents.no prescriptions or drug use.

any information that you would like to know please be free to ask.
thank you for your time in advace.
