lack of speech

lok I have a son of 3.9 who has not ,can not talk , he did not ever baby babble or can not make animal sounds.

Wedo have a diagnois of GDD, hypermoblity and hypertonia he is between 18 months to 2 years behind on all other skills ,His receptive laungage is at 1 word level still ,we have had no scans or tests other than hearing which is fine no problems detected,They do not feel he is on the ASD,


But no one hs any idea why his speech is not there is ti worth me pushing for scan or referal to a neuroligst at least

Has he seen a pediatric neurologist?

If not I would certainly advise this.
How was the pregnancy / birth?
