New postby jozee173 on Mon Jul 27, 2009 12:17 pm

can you explain in plain english what this means, my neuro just called and said mri is good no worries ( i was dx with ms 11 yrs ago) just started w/a new neuro, so he wanted his own mri for comparsion, he just called and said he wants to see me again and get me back on therapy (copaxone.)

there is multiple small foci of abnormal increased T2 signal in the periventiricular white matter compatible with demyelinating plaque as well as additional lesions in the subcortical white matter. the pattern and distribution are unchanged . no focal lesions in the corpus callosum. also in the posterior fossa either. no enhancing lesions.

impression

there are mutliple periventricular white matter lesions none of which enhance, which do not appear changed in number of distribution when compared to examination on 4/16/07
no enhancing lesions.

thank you so much
