first episode of extreme dizziness/vertigo was in June. went to ER, they irrigated ears & said I had calcium deposits in inner ear. the episode lasted continuously for 6 days & abruptly stopped. had same symptoms & same duration in August, Dramamine helped. currently I'm in 5th day of this, Dramamine hasn't helped, last night everything went black & I hit the floor.
the first & third episodes started when I was trying to wake up in the morning, & the second episode started while I was watching t.v.
during the last couple of days I've had minor facial/head/eyes discomfort, like what people refer to as sinus or allergies.
at last checkup (bloodwork, etc.), I was found to be healthy. only known problem was hypoglycemia which is usually under control with good diet.
I experienced these symptoms twice in the distant past-- once from an ear infection & once from a draining tooth.
as each of these recent episodes started in the same location, is there a chance it may be due to an allergy to something in my home environment? or is there some other cause that's more likely?
