hyperreflex spine injury

New postby jaymanfive on Wed Jul 01, 2009 9:15 pm

Anytime I think about anything that requires any effort I can feel it in my legs like I can feel them tense up or I can feel a bit of pain. When I go to sleep after a few hours of sleep I wake up and my legs feel tense and my bodies overall feeling of relaxation is gone and because of this the rest of my sleep is only light sleep. Had an MRI and it shows a bit of scar tissue on the part of the brain or spinal cord that controls the thigh muscles or the knee reflex I think it was called the c2-c4 or t2-t4 Im not sure. SO I know why my leg muscles would be a bit hyperactive but I don't understand why would me stressing my brain to think about something have an affect on the things that control my leg muscles and tense them up?
