Hi, can anyone tell me what this means? Husband had MRI and PET scan recently and we just received these results in the mail from his primary Dr. telling him to bring them to his Neurologist. As we don't have a follow-up appt in the near future I am hoping someone can decipher this better than I can.
MRI Brain 2011- (compared to 2004 MRI)
without gadolinium
Findings: "There is increased conspicuity to occasional less than 5 mm bifrontal high FLAIR high T2 foci, largely subcortical in location. No interval restricted diffusion or gradient blooming has developed. The ventricular system remains midline without shift or herniation. No extra-axial collections has developed. No significant atrophy has developed. The seventh/eighth nerves, central flow-voids, sella, cerebellar, tonsil position, and paranasal sinuses remain stable"
Impression: "increased conspicuity occasional subcortical white matter foci."
Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
