Having Problems with smiling

New postby nishant88 on Thu Nov 24, 2011 2:19 pm

MY name is Nishant. I am from India. I am in some serious problem. I need some help and the problem is that i cant tell this at home and dont have funds to meet a neurologist here. I am suffering from some problem where am not able to smile for long. If i do so am not able to hold it for long time and my smile automatically closes. It started about 1 year ago when one day my friends were teasing me in a friendly manner and i had no problem and let them do so. What happened is that i was smiling the whole time for about 5 mins long. Afterwards i got tired of it and so i stopped smiling. Then this happened once more few days later in the same way. After all this i started feelings that am not able to smile properly. I thought it was natural and let it go for 2 months but my condition did not improve. I started having problem sitting with people as i was unable to smile properly. I could smile only for a short time. So i met a Dentist and told him everything and he gave me a muscle relaxant. I tried n it improved my condition but not completely. I thought this problem might have become mental to me. So i tried to think that i have no problem smiling and used to convince me everytime. But till date m doing the same things and still having the problem. I have also gone in depression due to this many times. Sorry i couldn't explain my problem shortly. Please help and tell me what to do. I feel i have this problem only on the right side of my face. I feel its some muscle or nerve problem.
