Feel like Electric Current in left Toe

Since last couple of days, I am feeling strange sensation like electric current passing from nerve for my left toe. Also, If I remember correctly about the the last one year, I was also feeling numbness of my thighs even if I was holding my baby or standing one posture. I started self medication of Neurobion for some time and then quit. The problem of numbness was not that acute therefore I igored it. However the electric sensation on my toe is horrific for 15-30 Sec, which occurs once or twice in a day, therefore I am little worried about what to do, is something to bother, please do advice.
