Dear Neurologists/Doctors:
A year ago I woke up from bed having remittent fever ranging from 37.5-38.5. I had back ache, stiff neck the next day I woke up. I had the following work ups: CBC was suggestive of typhoid. Widal’s tested positive for Salmonella Typhi but only trace. I was given Chloramphenicol for 14 days. The fever was resolved but what I was bothered about having persistent dry mouth, feeling of fever even if my temperature was only 36.5, lightheadedness, dizziness and often times with stress, it gives me a head ache, nausea but no vomiting. It has been affecting my activities ever since I got sick that time Because of this, I was adivised to have my visual acuity tested. I have astigmatism of the left eye. I wore glasses, but it did not alleviate my symptoms. They also advised me to have Hba1c, t3, t4, TSH. All of which revealed normal results. Chest Xray revealed clear lung fields. They even tested me for vertigo, throwing my head left and right but it was normal. As of now, I am currently experiencing these symptoms for already a year now. I am asking for your kind help for advise to what kind of treatment I should refer to. I am afraid if this would be a neurological case. Doctors please send me your advices. If you would like to ask me questions regarding my case I would be welcome to supplement details
Thank you very much…
