Difficult seizure issue

New postby CoRico on Wed Sep 16, 2009 7:27 am

For the past 7 years, I've been having seizures - and I am stumpt on what is causing them. My seizure activity continue to differ/change/get worse over the years.
A long post is about to be posted.

Have 4 types of seizures:

Simple Partial
Complex Partial
Generalized convulsion
Unknown type of convulsion

First off, my Simple Partials are completely off tract compared to other epileptics.
In the begining years of my seizures - my simple partials never were a "warning" before a seizure. They came in the morning when I'd wake up. Barely a second of feeling "de ja vu" and distorted sight and and sound.
In 2005 my simple partials started to differ and become MUCH more numorous, included stuttering, and long sessions could that last over 30 minutes.
In 2007, the simple partials became much worse and more numorous(esp. around my period), with some sessions lasting up to 3-5 hours. The simple partials finally add as warnings now. They usually end whith a complex partial in sessions and warn of a convulsion.
Currently: The simple partials still remain the same, but are becoming not as numorous. They are more "triggered."
Long simple partial sessions are always expected during my period though.

Complex Partial:

Complex partials are the "end with a bang" of a simple partial session. They are the "stopping point" of a simple partial session. They will also occure before I go into a convulsion, though I usually don't remember them. After a complex partial I am unresponsive. I cannot speak or communicate with others. This "moment of silence" can last up to 5-15 minutes.
I started having complex partials in 2007.

General Convulsion:

In the begining years, the seizures would come out of no where - not just by just being provoked by a trigger.
The postical stage is the only differences so far between the seizures from the past to now.
In the first few years, the aftermath was alot more violent than now. It inculded running around and crying.
As time went on, I became more conscious and steady and stopped running.
Starting this year, I've had a much better reaction in my postical stage. I usually just cry, but I am actually conscious enough to dial phone numbers and I'm able to clearly remember the whole or most of the postical stage.

Unknowm Convulsion:

A convulsion that I'm conscious through. I've only had 2 of these. 1 last year and 1 earlier this year.
There are only so much I can remember though. It is warned by partial seizures just like a generalized convulsion.
I get severe double vision at first. I remembered rolling side to side. Then I stop breathing. Then I start to recover breathing in short breaths and drool. The postical stage is no more than 5-15 minutes of unresponsiveness like after a complex partial.
These type of seizures are like nightmares. They scare me really bad!

So, what do you think is wrong? I think it might be neural cancer, but I'm still uncertian. I know I need an MRI, but I simply can't afford it.

I take Keppera and Lamictal.

Sorry for the long post and I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot. I will appreciate any responces!
Thanx!
