Contraction and shaking attacks related to MS

I was having numbness and weakness attacks on my left leg every now and then since 2001 but my doctor could not figure out what it was. And I did not pay much attention to it after a while because the attacks would go away on its own and would not affect my daily life. Then in February 2009 I had serious numbness and weakness on my left arm. I went to a Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists; she told me it sounds like MS and referred my case to a Neurologist. The MRI showed myletis on the cervical spinal cord and SEP latencies were longer on my legs. But the doctor thought these would not be enough for MS diagnosis and said she would recommend follow up. Then I had another attach in June which affected my whole right body (except my face). I had severe numbness, pain, weakness and coordination problem. The MRI showed an active transverse myletis. Following this attach and I had gone trough many more tests and exams which eliminated other diseases and I was diagnosed with MS and began copaxone therapy.

This has been my brief history. My real question is about a condition I have been experiencing since the attack in June. Since then when I am under severe physical or emotional stress I started to have contraction and shaking attacks. A couple of times I completely lost strength on my right side and collapsed and my whole body started to shake. I was also feeling like I was being pulled to ground from my right side. Although my whole body was shaking I felt the contractions were coming from the right side of my body. The shaking continued even if I lay down for 10-20 minutes. Then it went away almost abruptly. During the attacks I am not be able to walk or move without help and lose my coordination as well.

And a couple of times I just had a feeling of being pulled to ground from my right and contractions on the right leg and arm without losing strength. After the attacks I feel very weak and need rests for a while.

I had 3 of these attacks in the last week. My question is whether these symptoms could be related to MS or some other neurological condition. My neurologist thinks it is a psychiatric problem and recommends antidepressant. But these happen even when I am on antidepressants. I am also worried whether the emotional stress I am under and these attacks could lead to another active myletis.
