constant fasciculations

New postby Skeeter2 on Tue Jun 09, 2009 10:05 am

I have been having non-stop muscle fasciculations in my left arm and shoulder area. This has been going on for the past 2 to 3 months and have seemed worse since I visited the neurologist. I had extensive blood work done which came back normal, and EMG which he said showed no indication of ALS or any other problem, and an MRI which showed some bulging discs in my C-5 and C-6 with spurring and arthritis. This was mainly on the left side of my spine. They left me with no answers, pretty much we don't know. I just want to know why this could be going on and if I should seek a 2nd opinion. I am 34 years old, very active. I run about 20 miles a week, I coach wrestling and am active at practices.

I have been experiencing exactly the same issues. I had some arm and neck pain before, but not at the moment. Please let me know if you know something.

thanks
