Cognitive Problem?

Cognitive Problem?I have been having Hormonal Migraines for several years and "Ice-Pick" headaches for the last year. Along with the headaches, I have episodes of extreme fatigue, moodiness, and vertigo. I have PCOS and Vitamin D Deficiency but otherwise I'm in good health. I rarely go to the doctor for anything other than my 6 month PCOS check-ups and I usually feel pretty good. This past week I experienced something that really scared me. I got out of my car to get the mail out of the mailbox, I sat back down in the car to continue on to the house, I knew I had to push the brake in to put the car in gear, but I could not for the life of me remember which was the brake pedal and which was the gas pedal. It only lasted 15 to 20 seconds but it really terrified me. I went to my Family Doctor and was rushed through my appointment with what seemed to be her only listening to half of what I was saying. My appointment was her last of the day and I even saw her check her watch when I was trying to explain what happened to me. She said that she is going to schedule me an MRI but that their office closes early on Friday's so it might be sometime next week before they have a chance to get the insurance to approve it. My question is, should I be worried enough to see another doctor or should I wait until she gets around to scheduling an MRI? Thanks for your help.
