A 48 years old woman I met before got accidentally a hit on her left side on the brain six month ago. She didn't faint at all, but three hours later, she began to get persistant headaches which never did go away plus some migraine signs at one eye. She saw a doctor about a week later, which asked her to come back some weeks ago.
Still two month gone and she still suffer from the persistant headache. The doctor claims no dangerous bleeds could treat her, but my research on internet give some fear that this could be a sign of a chronic subdural hematoma (or another fatal condition), which must be treated or need more investigation. Her doctor says there probably is a chronic headache - not possible to know if this will be life lasting or temporary but don't believe this can be more danger, waiting with a scan.
After about she still suffers from the headache, but not always on one part of the head. The doctor has not taken the final decide about a MRI or CT scan to reval any harmful damages to the brain structure.
Is there any risk of permanent damages or injury later in this stadge or does her doctor understand the situation correctly? Did a chronic subdural hematoma (or another serious condition) cause more symptoms arise if it could threat, as there was gone near seven months since the accident. She have worked the whole time since the accident except for two days she took rest, probably due to the chock phase of the accident.
