Brain injury CT results

New postby Andrea on Sat Jul 25, 2009 1:11 pm

My 27 yr. old fiance suffered an anoxic brain injury after cardiac arrest 6 monhts ago. His recent CT scan says, "There is mild prominence to the cortical sulci." What does this mean? It also says, "Mild Generalized atrophy" What exactly do they mean by mild? What level of function can we expect with MILD? If we take another CT 6 months from now will it still show mild or could it be severe but just not show it yet? Thank you
