back pain / radiculopathy / paresthesia

New postby prem on Thu Mar 25, 2010 3:32 am

From what I remember without looking anything up again, radiculopathy is a form of back pain that originates from the spine (at least the lumbar form of it). What about numbness / tingling / paresthesia, though... does that also come along with radiculopathy? Is it fairly common for these symptoms to appear together?
A kind of back pain, radiculopathy involves the nerve roots. The condition can lead to a selection of different medical symptoms.
