Aneurysm Clip in 1979

I had a seizure and a cerebral hemorrhage in February of 1979, which was clipped in March of 1979 in Ontario, Canada. Besides avoiding MRI's, is there anything else I should be wary of? I have not seen a neurologist in almost 20 years. Now that I am getting advanced in years, should I be following up with a neurologist?
