Weak Bicep...HELP!!

New postby themashane on Fri Jul 31, 2009 11:29 pm

hello my name is Shane and i am 22 year old male and i am trying to become a police officer and my physical defect has finally stopped me from pursuing my dream. according to my mother when i was 3 months old doctors diagnosed me with spinal polio, at that time my left arm was totally paralyzed. After being hospitalized, 2 months later i was able to move my left arm like anyone else. but soon to find out as i was growing i was not developing a left bicep. to this day i have a very weak bicep... yes there is something there but my max curl on my left arm is 5-7 pounds. i did my research on the virus and it seems to attack and destroy motor neurons in my spine sending signals from my brain to the muscle. i would imagine with all the technology today there is something i can do to get a left bicep or even to use a steroid or something to make my muscle grow!!! i am desperate, i work out at a gym everyday and i see very little result and personally its self demolishing to know that i may not be able to ever complete my dream in life because of it. please if anyone know or if anyone can refer me that would be great!!

thanks, shane

Well I personally think that you need to continue to workout hard at gym for building Biceps . I hope that you might get the results what you want very soon . Thanks
