moderate white matter disease

The doctor's are undecided as to whether I have MS or not...
Is this a symptom of MS?

moderate white matter disease

i am 45 year old white male,
i have been having dizzy spells that occur daily with very dizzy disoriented feeling briefly, i have very bad head aches daily,my hearing has decreased in the past 6 months also my vision prescripton doubled from last year, i had a mri with and without contrast in 1999 that showed white matter disease, it was dissmissed as nothing,
i had another mri with and without contrast last month, these are the findings.
mild crebreal atrophy is noted, moderate periventricular white matter disease that extentds into the corona radiata and centrum semiovale, this disease does not enhance, considerations would include small vessell ischemia vs demelinization process.
i since have had a lumbar pucture that came back negative for bands, and my nureologist called and said everything preliminary looks ok.
can you offer a suggestion as to what is going on with me, i dont understand how i can feel as bad as i do and have the white matter disease but my lumbar puncture looks ok for ms bands, what else could be wrong, i do not go back to see my neurologist for 4 weeks

What did the neurologist find when he examined you?
Can you send an MRI picture for us to see?

Do you have any medical problems...history of childhood neurological issues or prematurity?
