Temporary Memory LossWhat are possible reasons for temporary memory loss during sleep (i.e., completely forgetting location just after awaking suddenly, and then eventually regaining memory after several minutes)?
Re: Temporary Memory LossPlease explain what exactly happens to you...do you mean that if for example you are on vacation then when you awake in a hotel room you feel disorientated until you remember you are in a hotel?

Re: Temporary Memory LossNo. I'm talking about something that happens everyday. Almost every time I fall asleep, even if it's for only a few minutes, I wake up out of a dream and don't know where I am. At this point I know I'm awake and not dreaming, but unless I open my eyes and look around, I have no sense of where I am.
Re: Temporary Memory LossThis is probably a very normal phenomenon and not indicative of a disease process.
