short term memory loss

I feel as if my brain is in a fog and find it hard to concentrate

short term memory loss

Postby newjeremy02 on Sun Apr 13, 2008 4:16 pm

Hi,
my name is Jeremy and I had a traumatic brain injury in 1988. I developed seizures in my mid 20s. I have had brain surgery and have not had a seizure since. I am on Lamictal. I take 2 200 mg tablets twice a day. I have a horrible almost non-existent short term memory. Is there any help for this. Memory tricks do not help because I forget them. It sounds funny but it is irritating more than anything else. It leaves me very scared at times. I would appreciate any helpful input you could give me.

Thanks for your question,

How old are you now?
How were things before the head injury...at school etc?
All the best,
