2 year headache

New postby emma on Thu May 20, 2010 9:10 am

One of my good friends has had a headache for two years now. It has never gone away and it is only getting worse. He never used to have headaches before this time. His headaches are dehabilitating and he complains of vision troubles (blurred vision every times his heart beats), dizziness, memory loss, slugishness, and (just yesterday) said that his legs had sharp pains running through them and that they felt numb and heavy. He has, on occasion, had a "white blindness" for a period of time where he loses his vision and is overcome by severe pain. His doctor is hopeless and we're trying to find him another doctor for a second opinion, but nobody seems to know what is wrong with him. He can't run any more for it makes his headache worse to umbearable. Lying down helps a little bit and so does cracking his neck, but the headache never completely goes away. He takes asprin, but it does little to nothing to help the pain. I'd love to know what you guys think about this.
