Headaches in a call center

Postby RichardBlank on Thu Jul 17, 2008 7:45 pm

many of my agents do complain of headaches during the day. I think it may be from the headsets being used since it causes audio in one ear and not shared by both.To drown out the back ground noise, many agents raise the volume which makes one ear more sensitive than another. Is this true or is there something that can be done?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Headaches in general are common.

They are commoner in stressful conditions, where people sleep badly, eat badly or have psychological issues....each person should be dealt with individually and I would advise against explaining the headaches as an effect of the headsets...each sufferer should see their own doctor and be assessed like anyone else!

Thank you for your reply.

I will take your suggestion into consideration. On a lighter side,it may be because we get hung up on for a living...
